A Photozaic artist
evaluates your specific Master Image and Tile
Images to achieve the best aesthetic effect for your Photozaic,
then renders your Photozaic using various algorithms
to determine the best placement, tone, and blend for each Tile Image
in relation to the content of your Master Image.
The
result is a combination of art and science to achieve a Photozaic that
best represents your Master Image when viewed from a distance and your
Tile
Images when viewed up close.
How Much Does A Photozaic Cost?
The standard cost of a Photozaic order (with one Master Image and up to 1600 Tile Images) is $40. A standard Photozaic order includes: Rendering of your Photozaic, a High Quality Color Print (up to 12"x16"), an Archival CD containing your Photozaic file, plus a ZOOMozaic version of your Photozaic, which can be shared via Email or posted on your own web page! Large Format Poster Prints can be added to your order.

A ZOOMozaic is a computer-based interactive version of your Photozaic, which can be viewed from the CD-ROM, shared with others via Email, or even placed on your own website. A ZOOMozaic allows the viewer to zoom in-and-out on the Master Image and navigate around your Photozaic to view all of your Tile Images up close on-screen. Examples of ZOOMozaics can be seen in our Gallery.
Will I Receive A Proof Of My Photozaic For My Approval?
Yes. Once your Photozaic is created, you will receive a watermarked PDF/JPEG file via Email, suitable for you to evaluate on-screen before approving your order. Your order will not be finalized and shipped until we receive your approval via reply Email. Once you have approved your order, your print(s) and CD-ROM will be processed and shipped.
How Long Does It Take To Complete An Order?
A Proof of your Photozaic for your approval will typically arrive via Email within three business days. Orders are typically fulfilled within two weeks using standard shipping. For fastest service, respond promptly with your approval.

Yes. Nearly any specialized project can be achieved, including extremely large prints, custom dimensions and shapes for both Tile and Master Images, and color effects (including spectrum range, monochrome, and black-and-white). If you have a specific need, please contact us for a quote at Custom@Photozaic.com with as much project detail as possible, and a representative will respond ASAP.
A Master Image is the large overall image that can be viewed at a distance, and is composed of up to 1600 Tile Images (these can be viewed up close). For a Master Image, you want to provide as large a file as available for best results (however, the nature of the final Photozaic is very "forgiving" which means a great Photozaic can be achieved even from a relatively small Master Image file).
Tile Images are the small images (up to 1600) which can be viewed up close, and together compose the Master Image (which can be viewed at a distance). For a Tile Image, even very small images can be used for a great Photozaic.
